The new theatre opened in 1996 after the refurbishment of the iconic art deco Odeon cinema building which was constructed in the 1930's. The theatre which has premiered many of Alan Ayckbourn plays comprises of two auditoria, The Round, a 404-seat theatre in the round and The McCarthy, a 165-seat endstage/cinema. The theatre has a restaurant, shop and full front-of-house and backstage facilities.

The YMCA provides the opportunity for people of all ages to partake in a variety of activities including dance, singing, sport, arts and volunteering, as well as on and off-stage opportunities in our 290-seat community theatre. It is the home to a number of dance and performance schools. They offer meeting rooms, dance studios and a gymnasium for hire. There are also classes for Ju Jitsu, Fencing and Musical Theatre.

Originally built in 1932 by Scarborough Council. The 8,000-seat arena saw many productions between 1932 and 1968 by the Scarborough Amateur Operatic Society. In the 1950's the theatre was open twice-weekly, with up to 8,000 people watching shows like The Desert Song. Musicals, concerts, pageants and 'It's a Knockout' were all popular events until it eventually closed in 1987. The theatre was completely refurbished and was officially re-opened by Her Majesty The Queen at a gala performance on 20th May 2010.

A large venue for conferences, exhibitions, entertainment and events on the Yorkshire Coast. Originally built around the source of Scarborough's spa waters and currently owned and managed by Scarborough Borough Council. The complex includes The Spa Grand Hall which seats nearly 2,000 people and hosts live entertainment including the Scarborough Spa Orchestra. The Spa Theatre which is a 600 seat Victorian Theatre is home to numerous Summer Season Shows and Christmas Pantomimes. The Spa Ocean Room is used for dances, conferences and other events.
